Your support allows us to continue providing vital services to veterans, victims of domestic violence, and individuals struggling with addiction. Our Goal

We have an exciting vision for the future—a large-scale project that we need your support to bring to life. Our goal is to create an inclusive, “down-to-earth” retreat where individuals can come together to relax, recharge, and engage in activities tailored to their unique interests. Whether it’s a fun-filled weekend, special events, family and group vacations, or personalized programs for specific individuals, this retreat will be a place of healing, growth, and renewal for all who visit.

Happenstance Ranch will exist to offer a leg up, a comfortable home, a range of rehabilitation, health and wellness offerings with access to viable and life-elevating opportunities for three key groups in need:

  • Military veterans facing homelessness, addiction and mental health issues
  • Victims of domestic violence in need of safety, shelter and assistance
  • Individuals bound by the strongholds of addiction

We aim to help a significant portion of these populations who are not being sufficiently supported by existing infrastructure.

We intend to situate Happenstance Ranch on 787 acres of wooded, farm, and waterfront land on Lake Chickamauga in Soddy Daisy TN. This plot of land is currently available for purchase, pending the necessary funds enabling our group to undertake the transaction.

Our operations will be multifaceted, and, in the longer term, as self-sustaining as possible.

One portion will consist of our nonprofits, specifically rehab, healing and sanctuary facilities dedicated to helping veterans and domestic violence victims.

Another portion will consist of a range of on-site for-profit enterprises serving to generate funds in support of the above operations. These will include a ranch-style resort, special event, golf and outdoor sporting / recreation venues, an RV park and retail districts hosting a variety of shops and services.

Happenstance Ranch’s nonprofit operations are threefold:

    HOME at Happenstance will be the housing and community environment premises developed to help veterans facing homelessness

    HOPE at Happenstance will be the housing and environment for victims of domestic violence in need of safety, shelter and high-quality professional assistance to help resolve their situations

    RECLAIM at Happenstance will be a partnership with an existing faith-based addiction rehab organization. It will provide a suitable environment for people seek to escape addiction, re-claim their lives and create a viable mental-emotional ground state for maintaining a clean and sober life.
